Finally the big day!
Some information about the museum Kulturen:
Kulturen, founded in 1882, is the largest museum in Lund.
Kulturen curates Sweden’s largest collection of cultural objects from southern Sweden, major collections of comparative artefacts from around the world and the largest number of mediaeval archaeological finds in northern Europe.
Kulturen employs a broad definition of cultural heritage that includes both the tangible and intangible.
The exhibition started with a presentation at the Museum Aula which was a big space where the audience sit before toasting and see the exhibition. Here some pictures of the Aula before starting the vernissage:
The youngsters were very proud to show their artworks and very exited to have so much respons and visibility!
Many of the audience were relatives and family members who were very proud of their kids!
Gustav Olsson, the museum director, welcomed the audience and the municipality representatives.
Lara Sanna (coordinator of art activities and exhibition curator) together with Sinikka Neuhaus and Katarina Blennow ,(responsible for the entire research for the project in Lund) presented the whole project.
